Signs

This morning as I woke and glanced at the current horoscope at 4:46 am CT (just hours before Mercury retrogrades), I noted Jupiter at the Midheaven. Jupiter, the bringer of expansion and rewards, and I thought that perhaps I should focus on her instead of Mercury.

I also noticed Venus and Saturn together in Sagittarius, the sign of Jupiter. I was fascinated by this because Love (Venus) of Father (Saturn) was the first message I saw this morning on my computer.

As my teacher, Sonia Choquette, advised my intuition class last November, "notice the signs, they're everywhere."

Achievement

The planets I'm taking notice of today are the Sun, Pluto and Uranus. They're in hard aspect to each other and all are in what I refer to as "achievement" signs (Capricorn and Aries). 

So to me, it has been a day to get out and DO something. So here I am at 5 years old, riding my tricycle!

Mercury Goes Direct Today

Mercury goes Direct today at 8:57 am CT. This trickster has been up no good even yet this morning for me, messing with my computer!  

The Moon is in the watery depths of Scorpio with no VOC (void of course) until 11:32 pm CT tonight through 10:46 am Thursday. Shopping under a VOC Moon can lead you to purchase items that you thought would be useful, but later turn out to be left in the drawer, or not what you expected.

Get your Valentine's shopping done. Under the influence of Scorpio, you may choose a gift for your sweetheart that is rather "Shades of Grey" in nature! If you wait until Thursday or Friday, under the influence of fiery Sagittarius, the gift you choose may be playful and adventurous - a vacation for two?

Feel the loving flow of the Moon in Leo as it makes contact with the Sun in Aquarius. This is love and compassion for all.

Mercury Retrograde - January 21, 2015

Mercury stationed retrograde today, January 21, 2015, at 9:54 am CT, until February 11th at 8:57 am CT. Mercury rules travel, communications and electronics.

This is not a time to be fearful of Mercury Retrograde. It simply means that you should REview plans; REstart projects you have not finished; and, REconfirm travel arrangements and appointments.  

Many astrologers advise that you not make major purchases involving travel, communications and electronics as well.

Taurus Full Moon

Taurus is ruled by Venus, and this Full Moon just happens to be in touch with Venus, along with the Sun in Scorpio.

Scorpio has a reputation of being sultry, dark and deep.

Taurus, being ruled by Venus, is sensuous and Earthy sign, in touch with things that “feel good.”

What a combination this is, Scorpio and Taurus.  This could bring a night of sexual promise or perhaps luxuriating in sensual delights such as a massage or a relaxing day at the spa.
