Gemini Full Moon 12/13/2016

At 4:06 pm CT the Gemini Full Moon is exact.  Gemini is ruled by Mercury and we're now in the shadow period of Mercury retrograde.  I've noticed a lot of computer glitches - I've had some at home and at work.
Mercury rules communication, transportation and technology.  Those are three powerful areas in our lives.  Our planet is smaller than ever in terms of travel and communication.  We can fly to destinations in hours or in just seconds we are able to communicate with someone who is on the other side of the globe.
Open up to your potential in these three areas.  Explore where advancing your talents may take you.  I wish you great joy as you uncover and develop your gifts.

Full Moon - Super Moon 11/14/2016

8:52 am CT at 22 Taurus, 22 Scorpio

A Super Moon is simply a Moon that is at its perigree – that is, at its closest point to Earth. We had one in October as well. The Super Moons create more of an electric buzz or have more impact on energy levels.

A Full Moon is the time of culmination of the intention you set at the time of the New Moon. It is time to look back over the past couple of weeks and see what you intended and how you have progressed.

Some rituals to try out at this Super Full Moon may consist of writing down your intent for the next cycle, smudging and clearing your home, bathing your crystals in the light of the Full Moon over night to recharge them. You might also make an elixir using a crystal submerged in a glass container of water which you leave out under the Full Moon. (Be careful that you don’t use a crystal that will dissolve or break down in water – I once did this with Angelite.) You then can drink the water – infused with the energy of the crystal.

The Moon in Taurus will be opposite the Sun in Scorpio. They are both Fixed signs – which means they pretty much will dig in their heels if being prodded to change when they’ve made up their mind.

Each Moon sign has a characteristic need for security. In Taurus, there is a need to keep things as they are until such time as they can be assured that a change will not affect their security.

Taurus loves sensuality, and part of that need is met by connecting to the Earth in some way. This need can also be met by doing something physical, be it sex, watercolors or making dinner.

Scorpio is a Water sign, which brings with it the potential of developed intuition or psychic ability. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, and the drive is for intensity, going into the depths to find answers, doing research, transformation, the cycle of birth and death. The occult is associated with Scorpio.

When Scorpio and Taurus are opposing each other it creates tension, and can result in reactions to the stress. Taurus craves security before making a choice, while Scorpio is ready to step out and see what’s out there, take a leap of faith and uncover the answer to a mystery.

Be open, observe and take note of how this Full Super Moon affects you. The more you are aware of the Moon cycles and how they affect you, the more prepared you are to deal with them.

Capricorn Moon 11/4/2016

Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth sign.  Cardinal signs are the enthusiastic initiators of action in the Zodiac, which includes Cancer, Libra, Aries and Capricorn.
There are five planets in Cardinal signs today:  Jupiter in Libra, Uranus in Aries, as well as Moon, Pluto and Mars in Capricorn.
Uranus is square Mars and could indicate extreme rebelliousness, sudden aggression or a competition of strong-willed individuals.
We also have Pluto square to Jupiter.  This is a ruthless energy, which could challenge belief systems.  It could also be expressed as a tremendous desire to succeed, bulldozing past any obstacles.  Sound familiar?

Scorpio New Moon 10/30/2016

Scorpio New Moon is exact at 12:39 pm CT on 10/30/2016.  Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, is a Water sign, bringing with it the energy of intuition, the desire to research and go where some may fear what can be found.  It is the cycle of life, birth and death.

I like to think of the Phoenix rising from the ashes, one symbol of the transformational power of Pluto.  If you dare, follow your curiosity into the depths of your soul and unearth that which haunts you.  You may come out on the other side enlightened and lightened in spirit, owning that which makes you the person you are.

Virgo Moon 10/26/2016

The Moon is in Earthy, organized and analytical Virgo.  Use this time to get things in order.
This is a good time to complete final details, sew up loose ends and in general, to bring projects to completion.

Cancer Moon 10/20/2016

At 10:28 am CT the Moon will enter Cancer, a Water sign.  Cancer actively seeks to nourish and comfort others.  Think of the Mother archetype.  That is Cancer.
Those with a Cancer Moon need and seek emotional security, which is what they also try to offer to others.
Now, with the Moon in the Cardinal sign of Cancer, there are a total of seven planets in Cardinal (get this party started) signs.  You should feel very supported if you're trying to start a new enterprise or project, especially with the Moon-Pluto transiting conjunction.  That's a fireball of power that's hard to stop.

Moon in Taurus

The Moon is in Taurus, an Earth sign, ruled by Venus. Mercury is close by, also in Taurus. Feelings and thoughts may be drawn to things of beauty that you appreciate. How wonderful would it be to take a walk through a beautiful garden, to smell the flowers and delight in their wonderful colors and shapes. This is the sensual energy of Taurus.
Drink in this energy on this gorgeous Friday morning. Let it sweep you away in daydreams.

Aries Sun & Moon

Blossom like a flower today. Go within and visit your imagination; let it grow and enrich your spirit.
The Moon and Sun are both in the Fire sign of Aries. Aries is also a Cardinal sign and Cardinal energy can inspire you to act. Take a look at projects that need to be completed - could today's energy grant you the drive to finish what is undone?
As always, I would be my pleasure to interpret your birth chart or do a Soul Realignment reading for you. My rates are competitive. Message me if interested.

Full Moon in Libra, March 23, 2016

he Full Moon in Libra just happened - it was exact at 7:01 am CT. A Full Moon means that the Moon and Sun are opposite to each other. The Moon in Libra (relationship) and Sun in Aries (self) represents our connections to ourself and to others.
You may feel this Full Moon more than others do if you have planets at about 3 degrees in Libra, Aries, Capricorn or Cancer.
Consult an astrologer like me if you want to know more about how this or any other New or Full Moon (and more) affects you personally.

New Moon in Pisces, March 8, 2016

New Moon, March 8, 2016
7:55 pm CT
Madison WI
Sun and Moon at 18 Pisces 55
The Sabian symbols for 18 Pisces and it’s opposite, 18 Virgo are a giant tent and an Ouija board. Imagery comes to my mind of continuously flowing intuition and how it naturally cycles with the horoscope. These are beautiful thoughts for a New Moon that is followed two minutes later by a total Solar Eclipse.
With Jupiter opposed to the Sun & Moon the energy of this New Moon seems as if it is being amplified by the expansive energy of Jupiter in service-oriented Virgo.
On the other hand, Saturn is making contact with all three powerful planets (Sun, Moon and Jupiter), inhibiting this beautiful expression. Imagine if you will the power of Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, as it is found in contact with the planet powering our thought process – Mercury. Through this force, I imagine the power of Neptune/Pisces being amplified despite those (Saturn) who would dampen the intuitive process.

Signs

This morning as I woke and glanced at the current horoscope at 4:46 am CT (just hours before Mercury retrogrades), I noted Jupiter at the Midheaven. Jupiter, the bringer of expansion and rewards, and I thought that perhaps I should focus on her instead of Mercury.
I also noticed Venus and Saturn together in Sagittarius, the sign of Jupiter. I was fascinated by this because Love (Venus) of Father (Saturn) was the first message I saw this morning on my computer.
As my teacher, Sonia Choquette, advised my intuition class last November, "notice the signs, they're everywhere."

Achievement

The planets I'm taking notice of today are the Sun, Pluto and Uranus. They're in hard aspect to each other and all are in what I refer to as "achievement" signs (Capricorn and Aries).
So to me, it has been a day to get out and DO something. So here I am at 5 years old, riding my tricycle!
